How ranking works

Every business listing earns points from genuine community activity — likes and reviews from signed-in, verified members. The more useful a business proves itself, the higher it climbs in its town and category. Businesses that reach a points threshold earn a free promoted spotlight for a week, so a great local business can rise to the top without an ad budget. Points are periodically reset so newer businesses always have a fair chance to compete.
