Paid placement never replaces the earned kind. Votes and reviews from real customers still win a free promoted week, and those appear as ★ Community pick — a different label from the bought Featured slots, so visitors always know which is which. I have several locations — do I pay for each?
Yes, per listing, and you can mix: keep the quiet branches free and pay for the ones you want to push.
I don't have several premises — I just travel to nearby towns.
Then you want Listing add-ons, not a second listing. For €3/mo you appear in up to 3 more towns and under more than one trade, from the one listing you already keep up to date. Your registered address stays your main location, and that's still where the map pin sits.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep everything you've paid for until the end of the period, then the listing drops back to Free. It's never removed from Alicante.
Why pay when Google Business Profile is free?
You should have both. Google shows you to people who already know what they want; a directory catches people still deciding — and a Featured slot in your town and category puts you in front of them first.
